ECE Faculty will be hosting a Coffee Hour on Tues., September 23 and Wed., September 24!
Students will be able to connect with faculty and classmates, in their major groups, which will help build and foster an ECE community from the start of their M.S. program ☕️

Canvas is UCSD's official Learning Management System (LMS) for activities such as online course content, online quizzes, and more via your laptop, desktop, phone, and/or tablet.
Once students are added, a Course Invitation email will be sent to your @ucsd.edu email
from UC San Diego Canvas Notification notifications@instructure.comStudents will have access through the use of their Active Directory (AD) credentials at canvas.ucsd.edu.
The ECE Orientation Canvas course modules will be live on August 15, 2025 and must be completed by September 1, 2025. Note that these modules are smaller learning components inside of a larger Canvas course. The modules that must be completed are inside the ECE M.S. Student Onboarding [ORG AY2526] course.

- M.S. Degree Requirements
Incoming students should read the M.S. Degree Requirements including the information within the tabs along with the corresponding links/PDF attachments.
- M.S. Degree Planner
As an exercise, please review and complete the M.S. degree planner.
- The upcoming academic year degree planners will be posted in the summertime but for now, you can use this academic year's planner. The changes, if any, will be very minor.
- You can use the ECE course page to assist with completing the degree planner. All, if not most of the courses outlined should be offered during the upcoming academic year. ECE courses are offered in Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters; if there’s a blank box, then it means that the course is not being offered in that quarter
